QUICK QUOTES: Adam Rose reveals two bizarre choices who were considered for The Bunny, who he wants as his final opponent

Adam Rose on Monday Night Raw.

Chris Van Vliet recently interviewed Adam Rose about his impending retirement, who The Bunny was supposed to be and more. Here are the highlights:

Who The Bunny was supposed to be:

“We were in a meeting for two hours before Raw saying, ‘who is going to be The Bunny?’ And they couldn’t decide. I wanted (Justin) Gabriel to do it, because he’s my friend from when I was 15, he was 16 and his dad trained me and we’ve known each other our whole lives. Leading up to it they were like ‘Well, nobody knows him anymore, and they didn’t know if they were going to get the reaction they want.’ So then there was a suggestion that Vince McMahon do it and I was like ‘What’s the payoff? I don’t get it.’ And they were like ‘Well, we don’t know where to go so why not have a crazy billionaire do it?’…and then it was Hornswoggle. They just didn’t really know where to go.”

His plan of the Dark Bunny being a Donnie Darko-like act:

“That’s what I was pushing for. I am a huge Marilyn Manson fan, so I was actually pushing to go that route with my character with Marilyn Manson and make The Bunny a real dark and sinister character. I wanted him to be six foot five, 350 lbs and we’d just ignore everything.”

Who he wants his last opponent to be:

“There are a couple of guys that are just friends of mine, that I’d like to do the last one with. Bull Dempsey is one of them, Justin is a good friend of mine since I was 15, we’ve traveled this journey together. So either him or Bull.”
