-Dean Ambrose is leaving WWE after his deal expires in April. Taz has been dissecting the statement by WWE that was released after Monday’s (01/28/19) Raw. The thing that jumped out to Taz was this guy’s deal ends in the spring. Basically WWE is saying he’s done. Why is WWE telling fans and other promotions like AEW in January when this guy’s contract is up? Dean just did a major angle with Seth for them.

-Taz also left WWE on his own terms by not signing a new contract. That’s Dean Ambrose’s right, but they never acknowledge this early about anyone. On Raw, there was a love session between Seth Rollins and Triple H that Dean interrupted by wanting to have a match with Seth. It was a big heel spot. Are you doing this with someone that is bailing on you? Is this just a work?

-Ronda Rousey, Dolph Ziggler, Maria Kanellis and Hideo might be leaving soon for one reason or another. Ronda might be leaving to start a family. It is like WWE was a shiny toy now she doesn’t want to play with so she is going home. She has been on top since beginning after paying no dues and putting no one over. Taz can’t believe the locker room is putting up with this. She’s not hiding the fact of wanting to start a family.

-What would make Dean Ambrose stay? Taz thinks maybe creative control since he is making tons of money. It is the hardest thing to get from WWE. Taz did it because he needed a fresh coat of paint. He doesn’t regret it even though he was only announcing one day a week with hardly any travel. If this is a shoot then Dean Ambrose isn’t happy and WWE isn’t going to be able to fix it. If it is a shoot.

-Taz enjoyed Dean vs. Triple H in the ring especially when he asked Triple H if he needed to go ask his father-in-law. Then Dean lost to Seth clean and Nia Jax interrupted Dean as he was going to talk to the fans. Nia got in his face and then hit him from behind. Taz’s first reaction was Dean’s is going to work with Triple H at WrestleMania so Triple H can Pedigree him and then he’s gone.

Taz’s second reaction was they might go the intergender match at a PPV to have Nia Jax use Dean as a sacrificial lamb that she is a killing machine of men and women. So he would get his ass beat by a woman.

-Taz’s first reaction was confusion about WWE statement so soon in January about Dean’s contract since AEW is looking for talent and Khan is paying well. Taz’s second reaction was that WWE knows it is going to leak and they can’t stop the leaks anymore. They didn’t want the speculation out there. Taz says it smells fishy especially letting him come out with Seth and Triple H in the first segment. Taz says he is going to watch like the fans are and using his prior knowledge of the business to figure out it out. Says that WWE may just job him out then send him home to wait out his contract. One way or another Taz says he is getting jobbed out.

-Also Taz respects Jeff Jarrett. He thinks it is a good move by WWE to hire him to work backstage and work with the talent. He knows how to be a star, how to sell and how to bump all the time. Jeff Jarrett showed how hard it is to start up a new wrestling promotion against the WWE. It is an ambitious task even when you have the money like the Khans. WWE is losing talent now which could help the Khans. Seems like WWE was trying to make Ziggler and Maria Kanellis happy in the Rumble.

Rating: 7.5/10

I enjoyed the one topic show, but wish he could have went more in-depth. Dean just got off injury and came back. You can tell he hasn’t been happy with what WWE was doing with his character.

Taz could have went more in-depth about what went into Dean’s decision and some of the tactics WWE uses to try to get you to stay. I wanted to know what Taz thought would happen to Renee now as well. I felt overall that it was a good show but Taz was repetitive to fill time.
