FINAL THOUGHTS & SCORE
Overall Rating: 8.0 out of 10 (Audio Quality: 9.0): This was the greatest Season Premiere episode of a professional wrestling related show in the last 24 hours. (Take that Michael Cole!!) I have anticipated this show since early this morning when I first listened to Wade Keller’s Raw review for VIP members. I already knew his opinions on the show, but I on today’s show, we learned how low the ratings fell in the wake of NFL Monday Night Football 2015. Both Wade Keller and Jason Powell have strong opinions on how this current ratings slide and overall product decline can be repaired. There is a sense from the hosts that the WWE is going to be steadfast through this latest ratings crisis. However, some good news coming out of this show, is that both hosts endorsed Ring of Honor wrestling and recommended watching it instead of giving up completely on professional wrestling. With a lot of the usual suspects making appearances on this Livecast as well as a return of a longtime contributor, I certainly recommend this show. Now excuse me while I catch up on last week’s Ring of Honor show.
